This little-known trail in Greenland is a true gem. Logistics (travel and supplies) are costly, and the backcountry tundra is remote, but the huts are free and well-spaced for walkers. Though this is a “trail,” route-finding and orienteering skills are essential as the path is neither well-formed nor reliably marked. For those with the proper skill set and an appreciation for solitude, this 210-kilometer route from the Greenland Ice Cap to Sisimiut is an absolute must. One of my favorites!
